When audio is submitted, HEARD can surface public-safe measurements including tempo, key, scale, loudness, true peak, and source details. These appear on the public review page where available.
Measurements come from audio submitted to the review — they are not fabricated or estimated. If measurements are unavailable for a given track, they are omitted rather than invented.
Audio measurements strengthen reviews but do not replace artist context and story.
If you provide lyrics, HEARD uses them directly for lyric analysis and quote validation.
If no lyrics are provided but analyzable audio exists, HEARD attempts automatic transcription — then pauses and shows you the result before continuing.
You can review, edit, and confirm the transcription — or choose to continue with an Audio-Only review that skips lyric analysis entirely.
HEARD never generates lyric analysis from unconfirmed or empty lyrics.

HEARD Live is a more guided review path for artists who want a session-style experience before the final writeup is created. Instead of receiving a review after the fact, HEARD runs pre-flight analysis first — then reveals timestamped observations as your track plays.
Pre-flight analysis
HEARD verifies and analyzes your uploaded audio before playback begins — structure, waveform, and key evidence layers.
Playback-synced observations
Observations appear at the exact moment they apply as you listen. Each note is timestamped to a specific point in the track.
Provisional → confirmed
Observations are marked provisional during playback. Later context can refine earlier notes before everything is confirmed.
Final review package
After the session, a complete scored review and evidence package is generated — same output quality as a standard review.
Audio is required for HEARD Live — uploaded file only, not streaming links. Uses Live Review tokens on eligible plans. Token counts are subject to final plan allocation.
HEARD Live is not: live video, real-time human criticism, a live chat, or instant guaranteed publication. It is a structured, pre-analyzed review experience that reveals evidence as you listen — then generates a final editorial output.

Evidence layer — not batch processing
Track Library is where your uploaded audio tracks live persistently. It is the evidence layer inside HEARD — not the same as Review Archive.
Review Archive is the output layer (your completed review articles, scores, and press assets). Track Library is the source layer (the audio record, analysis runs, measurements, and connections to reviews, interviews, and profiles).
Track records
Each uploaded audio file creates a persistent track record with file metadata, duration, channels, and source details.
DSP measurements where available
When audio analysis is available, measured values — tempo, key, loudness, true peak — attach to the track record.
Audio recognition matches
Fingerprint recognition results (artist, title, ISRC, streaming links) connect to the track record when confirmed.
Browser audio evidence
In HEARD Live mode, browser-observed evidence (waveform, energy shape, section markers) can also attach to the track.
Review connections
Completed reviews link to their source track, making evidence provenance visible and reusable.
